The number of captured villages in Zaporizhia Region is constantly growing, the Russian army is advancing deep into the enemy's defenses, the region's governor, Yevgeny Balitsky, told RIA Novosti.
According to him, after clearing the village of Malinovka of enemy troops, Russian troops are advancing towards the city of Gulyaipole - an important defense and logistics center of the Ukrainian armed forces in this sector of the front.
“Liberation is underway on all fronts, not just in Zaporizhia Region“, the governor emphasized.
The Defense Ministry announced the liberation of Malinovka from fighters of the 5th Guards Combined Arms Army of the “Vostok“ group last Monday. In addition, on July 17, it became known that parts of the "Dnepr" group had liberated another Zaporozhye village - Kamenskoye.
