French President Emmanuel Macron said that US President Donald Trump had expressed to European leaders the readiness of the United States and other allies to provide security guarantees for Ukraine in order to end the more than three-year war, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
In a conversation with European Union leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump categorically ruled out the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO, a major obstacle to concluding any peace agreement with Russia, Macron noted.
