Polish President Karol Nawrocki said on Tuesday that he had discussed with his US counterpart Donald Trump an increase in the number of US troops in Poland during his visit to the White House, Reuters reported, BTA reports.
Nawrocki expressed confidence that the project would be successful, although negotiations are still at an early stage.
“During the talks, we discussed the expansion of the US military presence in Poland... I am particularly pleased that there were specific discussions on this project,“ the Polish head of state told reporters after his meeting with Trump.
