The Honda Civic Si high-performance sedan has undergone a planned update. The model received a stiffer chassis and other technical improvements that made it “the most enjoyable Si to drive ever”.
From the standard Civic, this version features a more aggressive front bumper and an air intake in the form of a hexagon with a different filling. The fog lights have also been reduced and less black elements have been used in the car's decoration.
The Civic Si received a stiffer chassis, new center pillar supports and rear door sills, as well as specially designed wheels. The interior of the updated model includes a modern multimedia system with a 9-inch screen and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.2-inch digital dashboard, USB-C ports and heated seats. There is also Google Assistant.
The shock absorbers on the tuned Civic Si sedan have been recalibrated, increasing stiffness and cornering torque. Modelite is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a power of 200 hp. and 260 Nm of torque. The new product will go on sale in August this year at a price of $30,000. The Civic Si remains the only Civic variant with a manual transmission, apart from the flagship Type R.
