Currently, advanced models used in biological research are in the hands of a limited number of “quite responsible“ companies, the entrepreneur said. He suggested that such models could soon become publicly available.
“The models will be able to help people carry out biological research at a very high level and a number of diseases will be cured. Some will try to use the models for malicious purposes. "Soon, the emergence of terrorist groups that use models to create new pathogens will no longer be theoretical," he said in an interview with Axios.
According to him, not only specific companies, but also society as a whole must be prepared for such a scenario.
