ERM West is reconstructing the network in the town of Dupnitsa, the purpose of which is to provide a more reliable electricity supply to over 8000 customers. The project will be completed by the end of summer. The investment exceeds BGN 870 thousand
The reconstruction includes the replacement of three 20 kV cables - from the substation “Institute“ to substation “BNB“ worth over BGN 107,000, from the “Autogara“ to the “Hladilnik” substation, with more than 130,000 BGN invested in it, and to the cable between the “Mlekokoop“ and substation “Zavodski stroezhi“, in which the company invested nearly BGN 90,000.
In addition, the reconstruction of the nodal distribution station “Tsenevi” for over half a million BGN. The modernization consists in the installation of new energy equipment and the introduction of remote telemechanized control. In this way, it will reduce the time to locate and respond during emergencies, create the possibility of remote repowering of entire regions via an alternative route and reduce power outages for customers.
