The US has authorized transactions with certain Russian banks in energy transactions , according to a document released by the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Until April 30, 2025, transactions in this area are allowed with Vnesheconombank, Otkritie Bank, Sovcombank, Sberbank, VTB, Alfa Bank, Rosbank, Zenit and St. Petersburg, National Clearing Center, as well as all other organizations in which they own a share of 50% or more, and the Central Bank.
Energy-related transactions means all transactions related to the production, processing, transportation and purchase of oil and petroleum products, natural gas, as well as other energy resources, including coal, wood and all forms of uranium and renewable energy sources.
