The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) will commission a significant number of new centrifuges for uranium enrichment in response to an anti-Iran resolution passed on November 21 by the Board of Governors of The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This was stated in a joint statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic and the UAE.

„Iran's relevant structures at various levels have previously warned that taking any measures aimed at confrontation and using the [IAEA] Governing Council to promote illegal, politically motivated statements will be met with before retaliatory measures. In this regard, the head of the AEOI ordered appropriate measures to be taken, including the launch of a significant number of new advanced centrifuges of various types”, the post published on the Telegram channel of the Iranian Foreign Ministry noted.

It states that any subsequent response actions will be taken exclusively “to protect national interests and further develop the peaceful nuclear industry” in accordance with the growing needs of the country "within the rights and obligations provided for by the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons".

TV channel SNN reported that Iran, in response to the IAEA resolution, has begun installing gas centrifuges in its nuclear facilities, representing three new generations, to separate uranium isotopes , which will allow the country to significantly increase its stockpile of enriched nuclear fuel.

On November 14, the head of the AEOI, Mohammad Eslami, after a meeting with the Director General of the IAEA, Raphael Grossi, said that Tehran will not allow the “Euro Troika” (Britain, Germany and France) to put pressure on the country regarding the development of its nuclear program by developing anti-Iranian resolutions. Tehran considers the approach of the US and the Eurotroika hostile. on the situation surrounding Iran's nuclear program. These countries accuse the Islamic Republic of insufficient cooperation with the IAEA.

On November 16, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that Tehran would accelerate the development of its nuclear program if the IAEA adopted an anti-Iranian resolution.

On November 21, the IAEA Board of Governors adopted a Western resolution criticizing Iran for alleged insufficient cooperation with the organization. According to the document, the IAEA must prepare a detailed report on Iran's nuclear program by the spring of 2025. 19 votes were cast for the resolution, 3 countries were against and another 12 abstained.
