David Sachs, proposed by the newly elected president of US Donald Trump for a new position responsible for the administration's policy in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and cryptocurrencies, promised to increase the country's competitiveness in this area.
„I am grateful for the confidence you have shown me. I look forward to increasing US competitiveness in these critical technologies. We have a bright future under your leadership“, Sachs wrote on Truth Social.
Sacks, 52, co-founded venture capital firm Craft Ventures and enterprise software company Yammer, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2012. As noted by Ag. Bloomberg, Sachs helped the Trump campaign secure donations from tech industry representatives, including hosting a Republican Party event in San Francisco, Calif., in June.
