The International Strategic Communications Forum (Stratcom Summit 24), organized for the fourth time this year by the Presidency Communications Directorate, will be held in Istanbul on December 13-14 under the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Communications: “Trends, Pitfalls and Transformation“:
Stratcom Summit'24, the largest communications meeting in Turkey, will bring together leading names in the field of international communications and discuss the changes in the field of communications with artificial intelligence.
The forum will begin with the opening speech of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and the Chairman of the “Communication“ Department to the Presidency Fahrettin Altun, and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will also participate in the forum.
The forum participants will receive a video message from Melissa Fleming, Head of the Department of Global Communications at the United Nations.
In addition, the forum will include Senior Presidential Advisor for Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Vice President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, Libyan Minister of State for Communications and Political Affairs Walid Ammar Elafi, Lebanese Minister of Information Zaid Makari, Serbian Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristić, Pakistani Minister of Information and Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture Ataullah Tarar, Palestinian Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy Dr. Abed-Alrazak Natsheh, Gabon Minister of Communications and Media Laurence Ndong, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Tahsin Ertugrulóğlu, NATO Deputy Secretary General for Public Diplomacy Marie-Doha Bezanseno, Head of the “Trade and Welfare Practice“ to the Government Communications Office of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Emma Turner, as well as ministers and chairmen of communication organizations of many countries.

The two-day program will discuss all aspects of the changes brought about by artificial intelligence in the field of communications and will examine the opportunities and challenges associated with new technologies.
Stratcom Summit'24 will focus on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence in communications and will discuss many topical issues, such as public communication, new communication strategies, journalism, digital media and diplomacy, combating disinformation and crisis management, digital ethics and cybersecurity.
The International Strategic Communication Forum will be attended by 64 local and international experts from leading public institutions, the private sector, civil society, media, academia and think tanks from 30 countries.
The forum consists of 8 panels, 4 speeches and 6 individual sessions and will welcome over 3 thousand. local and foreign guests.
The event is expected to be attended by experts in the field of communications from various sectors - from public institutions to private enterprises, from civil society to think tanks, as well as university professors and students.
On the first day of the program, meetings will be held on the topics of “Artificial Intelligence in National Strategy: Digital Transformation and Strategy“, “Digital Transparency in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Data Security and Ensuring the Public Interest“, “Artificial Intelligence in International Strategic Communication: Global Cooperation and Regulations“, “Artificial Intelligence in Countering Disinformation: Strategic Tools for Public Institutions“.
Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Senior Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security, will deliver a speech on “Turkey's National Security Perspective in the Age of Artificial Intelligence“; Hikmet Hajiyev, Vice President of Azerbaijan, will deliver a speech on “Artificial Intelligence and Strategic Advancement: A Vision for the Future of Azerbaijan“; and Dr. Abed-Alrazak Natsheh, Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy of Palestine, will deliver a speech on “Shaping the Digital Transformation: A Vision for Palestine's Telecommunications“.
During the second day of the Stratcom Summit, 24 experts will present their analyses on the topics of “Crisis Communication with the Help of Artificial Intelligence: Strategies for Public Safety“, “Cybersecurity in the Field of Communications Supported by Artificial Intelligence: Ensuring Security“, “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Journalism: Maintaining Impartiality and Accuracy in the Face of the Deepfake Threat“, “Artificial Intelligence and Communication Ethics: Managing Transparency and Accountability“.
The speeches and individual sessions titled “Preventing and Protecting from Threats in the Information Age: An Interview with NATO“, “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Transforming Neurotechnology“, “New Horizons in Art Technology“, “Artificial Intelligence and Diplomacy: A Strategy for Turkey's Future Vision Oriented to Technology“, “Global Strategies for Effective Public Communication“, “Artificial Intelligence and the Development of Digital Media“, “The Role of Digital Diplomacy in Peacebuilding“, will focus on how artificial intelligence shapes the foreign policy and communication activities of states and international organizations.
In the event area, the stands of the Presidency Communications Directorate, TRT, AA, Press Advertising Agency, Defense Industry Directorate (SSB), TOBB, ITU and Yildiz Technical University will welcome the attendees.
