One person died and one was injured in fires in the past 24 hours in our country, reports the Main Directorate “Fire Safety and Population Protection“.
A total of 52 fires were extinguished.
At 11:22 a.m. yesterday, a signal was received about a house fire in the village of Topolovo, Asenovgrad municipality. Three fire engines of the RDPBZN-Plovdiv were sent to the scene.
G.T.D., an 85-year-old woman, died in the fire. This happened before the teams arrived.
There were 5 gas cylinders in the house, 3 of which were installed on heating stoves. It was determined that three of the bottles exploded.
Direct material damage occurred in 19 fires, of which 9 were in residential buildings, 4 - in vehicles, 5 - in outdoor facilities, etc.
143 rescue and assistance operations were carried out.
Five false alarms were also received.
