Dimitar Manolov: We expected Galab Donev to be the Minister of Social Affairs, but he would take over the parliament

Dimitar Manolov: We expected Galab Donev to be the Minister of Social Affairs, but he would take over the parliament - 1

It is easier for me to say what we want, not to wait for them to do something. We will ask them and we will certainly tell them in the near future, warned the winners of the elections – – – – – – – – – – – – Progressive Bulgaria – the president of the Podkrepa Coalition in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio.

"We must first see how these people configure themselves, because we are currently in a confused, dizzying situation. We will see how they configure themselves, because as we know, the talk before the elections has nothing to do with what happens afterwards. We need to see who the ministers of finance, MLSP, ecology and energy will be," he said on the show "12+3".

And he pointed out that one of the first things to talk about will be the state of energy, the pillars on which a country is supported:

"And we definitely need to talk about education and healthcare, which are not in a state of crisis, but a disaster. We need to talk about the pension system, some bad things were done there, from which it will be difficult to go back. We will also talk about the MRD directive, which is not yet part of our legislation, as well as about changing the payment system in the administration, which has not been changed."

Dimitar Manolov also shared:

"The good thing is that we know some of the people who will be placed in these positions, and in general we are clear about what is in their heads. One expectation was that Galab Donev would take over the MLSP, but he would take over the parliament. Let's see what kind of people will be placed in the positions. Their ideas are not clear, because those in the election programs do not have much weight. I went to the opening and the program had too much eclecticism and unclear things, with which governance cannot be implemented, it should be more specific."

According to the president of the "Podkrepa" the budget must respond to the damage caused by the introduction of the euro and the subsequent inflationary processes. And he stated that "Progressive Bulgaria" will necessarily meet with the unions, whether together with the employers or separately, but there will be a meeting.

"The form of the tripartite is also for communication and let us recall that with all the remarks made about the problems of those who left and those who came, it started from a failed meeting of the tripartite, which was supposed to look at the budget," Manolov recalled.
