Dimitar Glavchev visited today the SBAL for Children's Diseases “Prof. Ivan Mitev”, in order to familiarize himself on the spot with the urgent needs of the hospital, the government press service announced.
Previously, the acting Prime Minister met with the chairman of the Public Council for the construction of a National Children's Hospital and the head of the Children's Neurology Clinic of the hospital “Prof. Ivan Mitev” Prof. Ivan Litvinenko.
A day earlier, Prof. Litvinenko warned about the need to purchase a scanner and X-ray for the hospital. During the Prime Minister's visit to the medical facility today, it became clear that the procedure for purchasing a new x-ray is
finished and the scanner one is about to be finalized.
On Tuesday, May 7, Glavchev will initiate a meeting with the Minister of Health Galya Kondeva, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova, the executive director of the SBAL for Children's Diseases “Prof. Ivan Mitev” Dr. Blagomir Zdravkov and Prof. Ivan Litvinenko, in order to discuss and find solutions to the most pressing problems of pediatrics.
