A specialized police operation to combat crimes related to the political rights of citizens, as well as conventional crime, is currently taking place on the territory of the city of Burgas. There are detainees, reports the press center of the Regional Directorate (OD) of the Ministry of the Interior.
Private addresses, commercial establishments and other places where there is evidence that criminal activity may be taking place are checked.
In parallel with this, checks of passing vehicles continue at the checkpoints around Burgas with a view to countering illegal migration.
Teams of the “Security Police”, “Traffic Police”, “Economic and Criminal Police”, as well as teams of the Burgas gendarmerie, are included in the checks.
The action aims at the peaceful and safe conduct of the upcoming election process, adds the OD of the Ministry of the Interior - Burgas.
