The last opportunity to register parties and lists for the June 9 elections in the CEC is today.

According to political scientist Assoc. Tatyana Burudzhieva, the order of the lists so far shows that the parties want to put people who have enough experience at the helm.

"For the EP, it is very important to have a biography, the contacts there between the people's representatives, between the party families - all this requires status. In the European elections, the preferences are such that you can overtake the first one", she reminded in the studio of Bulgaria ON AIR.

Sociologist Dobromir Zhivkov is of the opinion that voters get disappointed by voting for a certain person who subsequently gives up.

"The Bulgarian voter mainly votes proportionally, he also votes for individuals, but to a lesser extent. We vote by party. Let the parties have respect for the voter. When a leader stands at the head of a party, he should fulfill his commitment," he insisted.

The leaders of lists in the national elections were put in an unpleasant situation, as they did not expect the vote to be 2 to 1, Assoc. Prof. Burudzhieva analyzed.

"This is one of the hypotheses why people from the European list are also leaders of lists in the national elections. It is inadmissible for a driver of a European license to drive another license. People vote proportionally. With the national lists, being the leader of two lists is also extremely unacceptable," she pointed out.

Zhivkov did not rule out an option for GERB to keep Maria Gabriel as a possibility for the "possible next premiership". "This is the next logical step for her, to move up a level," added Zhivkov.

Burudzhieva predicted a difficult next mandate for the government and expressed another possible hypothesis. "Gabriel has the biography, experience and resources to be elevated as a face in a number of international bodies and institutions,", she believes.

According to Zhivkov, one of the certain things in the elections is the positioning of the DPS.

"DPS will be either third or fourth place. On the one hand, Elena Yoncheva brings something new to the list of DPS. Brings support regarding the liberal line. "The positioning of Mr. Peevski in the list of Kardzhali is interesting," he pointed out.

Burudzhieva commented on Yoncheva's fifth place in the DPS lists: "Either we should expect something else as her realization, or she was given the opportunity to work for preferences in order to enter.

Leftist people in Bulgaria have no real representation in the parliament, she stressed.

"It is clear that "Revival" joins the European family. There is potential for development. This will be a test," Zhivkov said.

Vanya Grigorova's entry into politics has great ambitions, Associate Professor Burudzhieva also said: "It was not by chance that it was for a mayoral seat. Another step for a bright and fast political career. VMRO needs familiar figures".

Sofia is liberal-minded and no different development is expected from the last elections, the sociologist explained. "The difference will be visible in the attitudes of the people of Sofia," added Zhivkov.
