Usually the voter is looking for a stick with which to punish those who have lied to his expectations. But in this case there is no big stick, that's why there was so much interest whether there will be a presidential formation or not. This is what he said to "Focus" Kolyo Kolev, owner and director of the sociological agency "Mediana".
"Because it was the presidential formation that was envisioned as a big stick that could be used against the rulers until now, including and on the assembly. But since it is not formed, in my opinion, this anger and rage will pour out in the direction of the smaller political formations, that's why I say that there will be a significant growth for them - both for the "Left" and for "Blue Bulgaria". ;, and with “Solidary Bulgaria", as you have already said, and it is entirely possible with the party of Vasil Bozhkov", the sociologist also commented.
"I am not a supporter of pre-scheduling, as I suspect that it is quite possible that there will be surprises in this election as well as in previous ones. What happens is largely up to the voter. Now it is almost always being suggested to the voter - well, it makes no sense, now it will be the same again, there is no alternative, everything is only Euro-Atlanticism, there is no discussion at all of what kind of Europe, what kind of NATO and all these things. To a large extent, however, this irritates the voter, and the picture will be completely different if such reconciled voters go to the polls, and if angry voters go to the polls", he explained.
"If resigned voters go, then to a large extent we will have some repetition of the assembly we have observed so far and it will be a new type of assembly, mainly dominated of course by Borisov and Peevski, in which the PP-DB will play the role of the fig leaf .
This will be the result if the resigned voters stand at the polls, their volume will in this case be something on the order of 2.3 million - 2.4 million voters. It will be completely different if the angry voters go to the polls, it is not necessary to look only at Bulgaria.
For example, let's say - the famous story with the portions of Ahmed Dogan, when 600,000 voters, who traditionally do not vote, came out, which swayed the country in one direction. We have seen the same thing in other countries, for example about 20 years ago in the subway in Madrid, when Zapatero was far in the queue - the subway exploded and in the next moment Zapatero was first. So there is always the possibility to expect surprises of course. And to a large extent this depends, as I said, on the resignation or fury of the voters", Kolyo Kolev also said.
