Russians in Bulgaria bought military equipment for Ukraine VIDEO + PHOTOS - 1

On the square in front of the Church-monument “St. Alexander Nevsky“ six cars were shown in Sofia, which will be sent to the “Legion of Freedom of Russia” at the front in support of Ukraine.

The people who showed the cars were wearing masks and glasses. They provided the journalists with business cards of the "Technical Security Group in Bulgaria" to "Freedom of Russia" . Two of the men spoke to the media but did not want to be identified. The reason, according to one, is that in Russia people who work against Putin's regime are subjected to harassment. They also fear that their relatives will suffer if they recognize them, explained BTA.

The organizers explained that this is the third batch of cars being purchased from Bulgaria and "we are sending them to the front to the Russian Legion – these are Russians fighting on the side of the Ukrainians.

The funds were raised by Russian citizens and ethnic Russians. In addition to equipment to the front in Ukraine, they also send drones and thermal underwear, but not weapons, explained one of the men. He added that the purchased cars are used at the front by officers and for transportation.

In connection with the actions of the "Legion Freedom of Russia" at the front, the man explained that "they are defending Ukraine, not attacking" and added that the Ukrainians are not aggressors, but want to liberate their territories.

As a citizen of Russia, I consider her actions unacceptable and I am doing everything to help Ukraine defeat Putin's regime, commented another of the masked men.

He explained that the first two batches of cars were sent to the Ukrainian army, and the current one will be for the Russian legion fighters. The purchase and preparation of the cars, which are modified for the needs of the front line, costs about 17-20 thousand BGN, the man explained.

Doing nothing is not an option, if we don't do something the situation will not improve and people will continue to die, he stated.
