A cold atmospheric front will pass through the country today, BNR reported.
Already in the morning, the cloudiness from the west-northwest will begin to increase rapidly and it will rain, and later the precipitation will cover Central and Eastern Bulgaria. The wind from the northwest will increase to a gale, bringing cold air with it. Afternoon temperatures will be in a wide range – from 16-19° in Western and Central Bulgaria up to 30° in Southeast.
In the mountains to the west-northwest, cloud cover will increase and there will be brief thunderstorms. The wind from the northwest will increase. The maximum temperature in the afternoon at an altitude of 1200 m will be 8-9°, at 2000 m – around 6°, and towards the end of the day on our highest peaks in Rila and Pirin around 0°.
It will be mostly sunny along the Black Sea coast for most of the day. Cloudiness will increase towards the end of the day. Maximum temperatures will be 24°-27°, and the sea water – 22°-23°. The excitement of the sea will be 3 points.
