"We have single-person rule in the state in all three authorities. Mr. Peevski commands all three authorities. This is the country's biggest problem. (…) His influence in GERB and that he makes the decisions there is absolutely clear. It will become all too clear next week. (…) There are shared territories of responsibility, but also of dependencies."
This is what lawyer Velislav Velichkov from the "Justice for Everyone" initiative told BNR.
In the show "Above all" he emphasized that Delyan Peevski will write the changes in the Law on Judicial Power after waiting for the decision of the Constitutional Court.
Judicial power, through the prosecutor's office and during the mandate of the caretaker government, also settled in the executive branch, according to Velislav Velichkov.
He pointed out that the elephant in the room is called the Attorney General. Until the position of Attorney General is eliminated, not a single problem in the system will be solved and the political pressure will not stop. The policy did not come out of the prosecutor's office.
Appointments in the prosecutor's office have been in line with the DPS for two decades, said Velichkov.
If the Constitutional Court cancels the formula of judicial power, everyone will remain in their seats next year - a year and a half, because a constitutional majority cannot be achieved in this National Assembly, he predicted.
