The mayor of a Plovdiv village died in a ridiculous accident

The long-time mayor of the Hisar village of Novo Zhelezare Petar Nenov died in a ridiculous accident last night, learned "Focus".

Around 9 p.m., a message was received that a man had been spotted in a ditch on the road between the villages of Staro Zhelezare and Panicheri. Arriving police officers found that he was traveling with an individual electric vehicle, such as a scooter. Emergency medics pronounced him dead at the scene. A pre-trial proceeding has been established, which should clarify the reasons and circumstances of the road accident and the subsequent death, the press center of the ODMVR-Plovdiv informed our media.

The administration of the municipality of Hisarya wrote on its Facebook page:

"The municipal administration of Hisarya, the Municipal Council of Hisarya and the mayors of town halls express their deep condolences to the family and relatives of the long-time mayor of the village of Novo Zhelezare. Mr. Petar Nenov left us suddenly last night! A tribute to the dedicated and dignified work for the residents of the village of Novo Zhelezare!".

It is not known when the long-term mayor of Novo Zhelezare will be sent.

The Municipal Council of Hisarya is about to appoint an acting mayor. The CEC then announces partial local elections, which will be organized by the local OEC.
