„It is alarming that in in the days until the constitution of the new parliament and the start of negotiations to form a regular government, Radev is again trying to instill fear and tension in society by talking about a mobilization reserve and the return of conscription. We must be aware of one thing - only the Bulgarian parliament can make such decisions, and we have already stated many times that such a thing will not be allowed. This was stated by the chairman of the DPS Delyan Peevski.
„We very clearly listen and hear the voice of the people and we are categorical - the youth of Bulgaria will not go to mandatory barracks! The constitution very clearly proclaims the powers of the institutions, and we remind Radev once again not to be tempted to trample on the basic law, driven by personal political ambitions, but to fulfill his constitutional obligations," Peevski also says.
