The real possibility of forming a government tends to zero, because no it is possible to radiate a sustainable working management. It is precisely for this reason that no one will take this job. The situation is very bad, difficult and unpleasant, and it cannot be done – heavy losses will be collected.
This is what Prof. Alexander Marinov said – political scientist and adviser to the president Rumen Radev to "Focus".
"All the parties represented in parliament say that there should be a government, they express readiness under one or another condition to take responsibility, but no one really wants to take on this burden, because whatever government is formed, it will be weak , will come under pressure, his opponents will speculate on him. So it's a very unpleasant task and everyone is looking for a way out of the existing situation, including those who are very enthusiastic about doing this job.“
In his words, every party has chosen a role, like Borisov, who is well aware that he cannot just get away with it, and therefore proposes a minority government with the complete clarity that it will not pass. "He clearly does not want to form a government with DPS, even with some small addition on the side, so he has to say: Here we are fulfilling the will of our voters. We are the largest party, but our voters do not want to vote for us, let alone receive Denkov,” explained the political scientist and added that ITN chose the role of straight-line opposition.
It is perfectly clear that in the current situation it is practically impossible for PP-DB to enter into a repetition of the "assembly“ from the previous parliament. According to him, PP-DB understand the situation very well and will not enter the administration together with GERB.
Even if they theoretically get the third mandate to form a government, the PP will propose such a cabinet, which cannot be accepted. "In this situation, to be in power after everything they have endured, everything they have allowed, would be suicide. They understand very well that their only chance is to do something that has happened many times over the years: you go into opposition and those in power start piling up negativity. People very quickly forget who the previous bad guy was, they find a new bad guy, and in this way they count on somehow stabilizing themselves.“
According to Prof. Marinov, the parliament does not show any signs of viability and the emergence of a new political entity is on the agenda, as "the current representatives are completely exhausted and unable to propose ideas and policies, as well as to take responsibility, which finds and a perfectly fair assessment by the voters“.
