He made the comment after a message was published today on the ASSG website that the 33rd panel confirmed the decision of the OIC of November 6, 2023, by which Vasil Terziev was declared elected as mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality in a second round held on November 5 2023
"We expect the ASSG to publish the decision with the reasons so that we can familiarize ourselves with them. And after we receive it officially, we will discuss it in the local coalition and decide what actions to take, comments Ivan Takov. "We will most likely follow the procedure and appeal within the statutory 7-day period before the Supreme Administrative Court".
According to Ivan Takov, the numerous omissions and manipulations related to the machine vote, which became known during the course of the case, clearly prove that the local vote in Sofia last fall was compromised. "With twice as much conviction today, I continue to claim that the elections for mayor of Sofia were stolen from us, said the leader of the capital's socialists. - This case clearly showed the people of Sofia that the results of the machine vote were manipulated. I am disappointed with the court's decision. I expected that the numerous manipulations found by the examinations would be taken into account.
