Daniel Smilov: If one more parliament fails to form a government, big parties will leave - 1

The split in the parties, which until recently were considered impenetrable, and the political skirmishes were commented on by political scientists Assoc. Stoicho Stoichev and Assoc. Daniel Smilov in “Offensive with Ljubo Ognyanov” on Nova News.
"In an organization, when things have stagnated for a long time, internal tension accumulates, which breaks out somewhere. There was such tension in the DPS and it found its way in the last few months”, said Stoychev.
TheDPS will have a lower representation in this election, that is the most likely scenario. GERB and DPS together had about 30-35% of the electorate and were an unavoidable factor. With this split, things change a bit. It is not clear what the effect will be on this core”, said Smilov.

Stoychev believes that a majority of four parties will most likely be formed in the next parliament.

Smilov believes that it will be difficult to create a Euro-Atlantic government. “The technocratic management option may turn out to be the only one”, he added.
Stoychev believes that it is too early to say whether these elections will lead to the formation of a regular cabinet.

Smilov is of the opinion that if one more parliament fails to form a government, “big parties will leave”.
