BSP regional chairmen support the formed broad left coalition . This is clear from an official position sent to the media. Here is the text of the document:
We, the regional chairmen of the BSP, declare our support for the formed broad left coalition.
It can and should be a guarantor for the protection of the social interests of Bulgarian citizens and the implementation of policies that will strengthen the statehood and development of our country.
We strongly oppose attempts to block the party through legal tricks.
We remind you that the only case in the history of the BSP, when it was threatened not to be registered, was during the administration of the SDF. Even then, our main opponent did not dare to take this step.
Today, individuals we used to call comrades are trying to do it. At the same time - in the name of his personal ambitions. We demand the immediate withdrawal of legal claims and declare that, as before, the structures will be guided in their actions by the decisions of our governing body - the National Council of the Party, and not by the actions of a few people.
