"Legends with important decisions are told by journalists because it has to sound cool. In this mess, important decisions are expected to be made, but in fact, those who convened the presidential council were playing tricks. PP-DB messed up the problem. First they released some announcement that they were inviting the other parties, and half an hour later they started calling people from the specific parties. And in principle, the opposite is done.
This is what the chairman of the parliamentary group (PG) said to "There is such a people" (ITN) Toshko Yordanov in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".
According to him, nothing can be agreed upon in the parliament.
"This Council of Presidents was clear that it would not give birth to anything. It was a pointless meeting where everyone was told what they thought about the subject. Finally, there was the conversation between Kiril Petkov and Delyan Peevski in a loud voice. Kiril Petkov and "We continue the change" are publicly suffering from the revival of Kalin Stoyanov, but in fact they chose it", Yordanov added on Bulgaria ON AIR.
According to him, they should apologize to the Bulgarian society for the changes in the Constitution.
"They were the idea of both Hristo Ivanov and the other titans of "We continue the change". There will always be a political flavor in the offices in this version of the Constitution. At the moment, the Constitutional Court is conducted only in words. There is a series of wrong political decisions - a wrong political decision to change the Constitution, a wrong political decision to include politicians in the Constitutional Court, a wrong political decision regarding the entry of the so-called "home book", emphasized the chairman of the PG of ITN.
He explained that when a legal change is made, one must know what will follow.
"If Petar Chobanov decides to leave the BNB, what prevents him from becoming acting prime minister? It is in the "home book". The governor is also there. It's a series of wrong decisions. And those who created them try to suffer and say that someone else is to blame. My brain refuses to accept this insolence," added Toshko Yordanov.
When asked if the situation would calm down if Kalin Stoyanov resigned, he replied: "No. Kalin Stoyanov to resign, who is the acting prime minister? The president is least to blame. They shook the amendments to the Constitution because of him. They cut his powers, turned the presidential institution into a signatory. The height of impudence was Lena Borislavova, who introduced 2 laws, but both fell in the Supreme Court.
Toshko Yordanov is adamant that the PP-DB lied to its voters: "The weight of the parties depends on the number of deputies inside the parliament, and the people send them there. If people refuse to vote, they will likely get an even uglier version of this.
