How does the political crisis affect the left parties? The topic was commented on by municipal councilor Vanya Grigorova in the studio of "Crossroads".
„There is no way I could be in a coalition with people whose election campaign was built mainly on spreading slander on the "Solidary Bulgaria" Coalition, in which I was. The current leadership of the BSP were the people who spread everything Ninova was saying. From “The Left” they had also focused their campaign against us and against me specifically, and not on the topics that concern Bulgarian citizens”, Grigorova pointed out.
According to her, Bulgaria should have a “strong left and pro-worker policy”. “Some very heavy renewal processes must take place – both of the persons and of the policies”, she believes.
Grigorova explained why she decided not to run in the upcoming elections: “What the previous campaign showed is that there should be a separate formation that is really focused on the rights of working people, of working citizens, including those of people who work for themselves. Until we make such a formation, I think that it no longer makes sense for anyone to see me as a brooch,”, she is categorical.
In her words, there are policies that should be the basis of the left. “I don't see them at the moment, or they are only used as a cover for pushing other policies,” Grigorova also said.
