Employee at the plant for the production of ammonia fertilizers “Neokhim&rdquo ; AD in Dimitrovgrad died in a work accident, and his colleague was injured.
The incident took place on September 3 this year, announced the director of the Haskovo Labor Inspection Directorate, Kircho Kirev.
The accident occurred during repair work in which a total of three people participated. One of them is unharmed, BTA correspondent Krasimira Slavova reported. The victim was admitted for hospital treatment.
The director of the “Labor Inspection” specified that an investigation is currently being conducted, for which the established term is one month.
„The occupational accident inspector still has a lot of work to do to clarify the circumstances. When the inspection is over, the facts surrounding the situation will be made public”, Kircho Kirev also said.
According to him, all three workers who carried out the repair work on the territory of the plant had employment contracts.
The executive director of “Neochim” Stefan Dimitrov refused to comment on the case on the grounds that he is providing the verification to the competent authorities.
