"The institutions say that the cases in the BSP and Traffic police are not their business. It is not for them to solve their internal problems. Every decision of the RIC can be appealed in the local administrative courts by both factions of the Movement, which will block their work. So far, the ethnic element has allowed the DPS to do whatever it wants".

This was stated on the air of "Hello, Bulgaria" on "New TV" the political scientist Daniel Stefanov. According to him, it is absurd that a party has two co-presidents and they can act separately.

In his words, if the barrier to entry into the National Assembly is to be raised, it should be above 7%. "Peevski's notarized letter may enable another coalition to bear the name of the DPS party," he added.

For her part, the election expert Vanya Nusheva believes that the problems in DPS and BSP are internal party. "There is no way to make a final decision if we do not see what the voter's word is and what the decisions of the governing bodies are. These cases will develop when the collective bodies are convened. Hypothetically, it is possible that there will be no DPS in the elections. If they continue to submit and export applications for registration, the CEC may decide not to admit them, because the case may be repeated in the various RICs," she commented.

According to her, the stable-looking political parties are colossi with feet of clay, but this cannot continue like this any longer. "New political projects may push the parliament towards absurd legislative proposals and also make it difficult to form coalitions. It is also important whether proxy parties will enter to serve as a crutch. A change in the Electoral Code does not automatically mean higher turnout, an example is the idea of the majority vote," Nusheva pointed out.

In turn, former CEC member Krasimir Kalinov stressed that if the Election Code is followed, there is no danger that the elections will be declared invalid. "Two representatives with equal rights have decided to register their projects, but if they fulfill all the requirements of the CEC, there should be no problem. There are no legal restrictions on Peevski or Chakarov assigning district representatives to register lists in the RIC," he noted.
