"Preparations for the elections are underway normally according to the deadlines. 24 parties and 9 coalitions were finally registered to participate in the elections. The registration of a coalition was deleted", Central Election Commission spokesperson Rositsa Mateva said at a briefing, BNT reports.
From September 19, on the page of the CEC, all voters can check whether their names appear in a signature of parties and coalitions for support. If they have not signed, to submit complaints to the Commission for the Protection of Personal Data.
Registered for this election are more than those for the previous two votes.
"Until September 21, there is a possibility of a change in the composition of the coalitions. September 16 is the deadline for registration of initiative committees for independent candidates. There are three initiative committees in Varna. By September 18, the mayors of municipalities must send invitations to the parties represented in parliament to form the sectional election commissions," added Rositsa Mateva.
According to her, so far there have been 5,070 applications submitted by voters who want to vote outside the country.
