"Thank you for confirming Bulgaria's solidarity in Ukraine's struggle to restore state sovereignty and territorial integrity. In particular, it was confirmed that:
- Bulgaria will never recognize the results of Russian aggression;
- the political and military leadership of Russia must be held accountable;
- Bulgaria supports Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO;
- Ukraine's security is key both for the Black Sea region and for Euro-Atlantic and global food security;
- Bulgaria actively supports Ukraine's efforts to strengthen regional security, which is confirmed by the holding in the city of Sofia in April 2024 of the Second Black Sea Security Conference within the framework of the ICC;
- Bulgaria remains an active participant in the International Crimean Platform and will continue to participate in this format until the main goal of deoccupation of Crimea is achieved," Ukrainian diplomats write.
