It very much meets the expectations of all progressive America, precisely for this multiculturalism, for this dynamism, for this ever-changing picture of ethnic and racial relations in the United States. And I think she defended her position in that debate as a woman of that background who can lead America. She met the expectations of the progressive share of the American electorate," he emphasized.
In his words, Donald Trump relied on "basic features of conservative propaganda in terms of the US election campaign. "So we should not be surprised that Trump uses these types of warnings and threats. But more interestingly, there was a very significant difference between the behavior of Kamala Hares, her public behavior as we are used to seeing it. She has never spoken more fully and in depth on certain specific issues, at least not in these widespread media networks that can be followed around the world. There was speculation that it could hardly cover essential aspects of political life. And now we saw a Kamala Hares, who obviously showed a completely different face, a public face with competence and aggression", the political scientist is categorical.
"This debate was a very serious change in the public image of Kamala Harris. In my opinion, the opinions that she won this debate are primarily due to this psychological surprise, which was also a surprise to Trump himself. He expected to see opposite him a Kamala Harris, who would be wary of taking firm positions on one issue or another. Let alone trying to attack him the way she did," Minchev is adamant.
