Bulgargaz foresees a 3 percent increase in the price of natural gas from October. This is clear from the application that the gas company submitted to the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation.
In the next month, to cover domestic consumption, quantities of natural gas delivered under the long-term contract with Azerbaijan, as well as from the gas storage in Chiren, will be used mainly.
Since the terminal in the Greek city of Alexandroupolis, where our country has reserved capacity, should enter commercial operation from October 1, quantities of liquefied natural gas are also expected to be delivered from there.
From "Bulgargaz" however, they indicate that they do not yet have a signed confirmation of these supplies with the companies that won the tenders. This means that there may be a change in prices when the company submits its final application at the end of the month, BNR reported.
