Collaboration with GERB is impossible to happen. "The Red Line" for BSP it has always been GERB and DPS. Any conversation about a government, expert or coalition, must rest on the basis of these decisions. Everyone who embraced Peevski and Borisov then disappeared from political life.
This was commented by Trifon Panchev from the BSP in the program "The Day ON AIR".
In his words, a coalition between the political entities that are in the parliament, apart from Peevski and Borisov, is not impossible.
"This is the idea of the broad left unification - to gather all the left formations, to work together, not to hinder each other, but to help each other. It's a collection of different ideas. We come together, we don't separate," Panchev told Bulgaria ON AIR.
He is adamant that new faces are needed, as trust in the political elite is very low. Panchev explained that for this reason BSP offers the formula "expert cabinet" - people who are not political persons, but are specialists in the spheres in which they work.
"The split in the DPS gives the BSP a great opportunity to enter the mixed areas with the right messages and with faces to make people believe us. What is happening in DPS will help his voter to look for something different," Panchev believes, adding that a large part of BSP voters are older people.
According to Cornelia Ninova, 30,000 socialists left the party, disagreeing with its exclusion.
"Telling the truth and mathematics are not Ms. Ninova's strong points. There are people who go around the media and speak untruths in order to serve the oligarchy and the political mafia," the guest noted.
