This was stated by the chairman of the PG of "There is such a people" Toshko Yordanov on the sidelines of the Parliament on the occasion of the Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Nikoloski's comment, who called the Bulgarians "uncivilized" and categorically denied that the two sides have a common history, reported a reporter of "Focus".
"This is proof why Macedonia has no place in the European Union," he added.
And he continued: "Such type of rhetoric and a country whose head of state allows himself to have no place in the EU and will not enter.
Regarding the claims that Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia have no common history, Yordanov stated:
"There is no common history, because they are part of Bulgarian history. They have a history as a territory, but as a people they do not, because they are part of the Bulgarian one. If ever in the future they come to their senses, they may have a chance to start negotiations - not to enter the EU, but to start negotiations.
In his words, the path for the accession of the RSM to the European Union is clearly drawn in the negotiation framework with the French proposal.
