A total of 80 tiles with a size of 70/35/ were found at six addresses and in a car in Plovdiv, Karlovo, Parvenets and Kalekovets 2.5 mm of the health-hazardous metal americium. The most were found in a car in Plovdiv - 44 pieces, 35 were found in a villa in Karlovo and one tile in a private home in Parvenets.

According to them, they can cause human casualties, damage to the health of various persons, as a result of radiation pollution. All actions have been taken to secure the areas where these materials were found.
Work on the case continues. Expertises are pending, and the radioactive materials found are currently being stored in a safe place.
