With a mission "to expose the real face of the people who offer you their false morality and pack their heavy addictions with non-existent principles", former MIA chief Kalin Stoyanov enters politics.

As expected, he became part of the candidates for deputies from the DPS lists - New beginning.

Kalin Stoyanov will be the leader in Sofia region, and in Burgas he will be second.

"I took seriously the invitation sent by Mr. Delyan Peevski to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
I join this campaign as a non-partisan and citizen quota, as I will remain in the future. This is the only option for me at the moment, through which I will be able to work, as an expert in the field I understand - internal affairs and security", Kalin Stoyanov explains his reasons.

My decision to remain loyal to the profession and not to political leaders has put the latter in fear for their own skin and bone.
The authority that I built with work and trust, both in the system and in the international partner offices, was considered a threat by people who have been hindering the development of the country for the sake of their personal survival for years.

I was unfairly accused by people to whom I refused political appointments, Stoyanov reveals his disappointments from participating in Denkov's cabinet.

Kalin Stoyanov accepts his new role as a battle he has started and is about to finish.

"After the well-thought-out and consistently conducted campaign for my political removal from the Ministry of Internal Affairs ended, two paths appeared before me - to accept the political defeat or to enter into battle to prove the rightness of my actions. I chose the second one," writes Stoyanov.

In his post on Facebook, Kalin Stoyanov also explains: "I have been a policeman throughout my conscious life. These are 25 years in which I have been part of the system of the Ministry of the Interior. I graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a diploma and second place in terms of success in the largest graduating class to date. I have started at the lowest level and have gone through almost all positions climbing the ladder to ministerial level. I have always stayed away from politics and never wanted to deal with anything other than the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

I will rely on all Bulgarian citizens who see me as a problem solver and have understood that I keep my word. I also expect the support of all my colleagues from the Ministry of the Interior, who sympathize with me and whose trust I managed to gain.
For me, this is a new beginning and I believe that the best is yet to come!
I believe that Bulgaria should start developing cleanly".

In the Burgas lista, Kalin Stoyanov is behind one of the most successful and beloved mayors that the municipality of Rouen has had - Ismail Osman, who indisputably showed that to manage a municipality successfully you have to be among the people every day.

In front of the Regional Administration building, Ismail Osman briefly presented the team he leads.
“Second on the list and side by side with me in the ambition for a meaningful new beginning is Kalin Stoyanov. You know him as the recent Minister of the Interior, a person who has done more for the system than the long-time leaders of this post.

He is familiar with the problems of rank-and-file police officers down to the smallest detail, and works actively to solve them. Kalin Stoyanov is a local man, he has proven that he can defend Burgas causes.“, commented Ismail Osman.

He, the regional head of the coalition Hristo Shirokov and some of the candidates submitted the registration documents to the RIC.
Shirokov stated that the coalition registered a complete list with 28 names of individuals with proven professional and human qualities.
“Each of the candidates is a person who has worked in the field to solve the most pressing problems. It will be like this in the future.
We will work together with the people, for the people. After these elections, Bulgaria must have a stable and working government that will build its stability. The time for pathlessness and chaos is over. We must unite to be strong, to be taken seriously by our European partners.“

He added that “DPS - New beginning“ is open to every single person, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, social status.

“DPS - A new beginning is for the people!“, is categorical Shirokov, who to date is also an independent municipal councilor in Pomorie.

Ismail Osman commented on the expectations and attitudes of the formation for the upcoming elections: “I am sure that the coalition “Movement for Rights and Freedoms - A New Beginning” will achieve its best results in these elections because we had complete freedom, alone, at the district level, to cast the people who will protect local interests.

During the last 14 years as mayor of the municipality of Rouen, I have been face to face, always with the people. Together we have looked for solutions – we have found them together. It will be like this in the future.“, the leader of the coalition said.
