This was announced to the media on the sidelines of the parliament by Stanislav Balabanov and Toshko Yordanov, quoted by BTA.
Balabanov pointed out that the quaestors are locking the doors so that they cannot go back into the plenary hall, and the lights inside are turned off.
"The moment it smelled of money, of stealing money, through the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RSP), something that those working in the Marish Basin do not support, and they were in the hall all day to express their reluctance for this to happen, the moment PP-DB smelled money, Delyan Peevski's DPS and GERB got together right away," Yordanov said.
At the beginning of today's plenary session, the items on the agenda included changes to the Climate Neutrality Roadmap and a draft decision on amending the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan in component 4 “Low Carbon Economy” and negotiation under the REPowerEU chapter.

Stanislav Balabanov commented on a statement by Temenuzhka Petkova, who stated that this action, which the three parties from GERB, DPS of Delyan Peevski and PP-DB are trying to do today, is the first step towards privatization of thermal power plants, this is a "dark law" that will put people out of work, Balabanov said, noting that these were the words of Temenuzka Petkova as energy minister. According to Balabanov, with the absorption of two billion, thermal power plants will be closed and photovoltaic plants will be opened in their place, 20-30 jobs will be created, and 30 thousand people will be unemployed.
Toshko Yordanov stated that this assembly is only for money. He explained that Rositsa Kirova announced that she was interrupting the meeting, until 00:00 this evening she could resume it. After 00:00, they cannot renew this meeting, because they will violate the election law, Yordanov said.

Earlier after the convened presidential council, Rositsa Kirova, presiding over the meeting, checked the quorum. Nine people's representatives registered with her, after which Kirova announced that she was closing the meeting and rang the parliamentary bell. The whole time the microphone in the stand was not working.
The end of the meeting was greeted with applause by the people's representatives, who were still blocking the parliamentary tribune, and by the miners who were watching the plenary session.
After the meeting, the lights in the plenary hall were turned off. Deputies remained inside, shining flashlights from their phones and singing the national anthem of the Republic of Bulgaria.
