„The ending of the 50th parliament was shameful. Political leaders abandoned the heads of parliament. We saw a lack of political leadership. The head of the National Assembly must be a leader with authority, to deal with such situations as well”.
This is what the lecturer on electoral systems, Dr. Vanya Nusheva, told NOVA NEWS.
According to her, in the 50th National Assembly, there was a “continuous repulsion of energy from the essential laws that can move Bulgaria forward”.
„The Bulgarian Parliament has seen several scenes of vandalism, but now we have seen behavior typical of crowd psychology, but by people's representatives. This is not how politics can be done, she is emphatic. According to her, it is high time to create clear rules for parliamentary ethics.
As problems that may arise in the upcoming vote, she pointed out the low level of training of the representatives of the Sectional Electoral Commissions and possible political bias.
