Bulgaria has started preparations for the evacuation of our citizens who are in Lebanon, NOVA reported .
On Sunday, Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev convened an emergency meeting with representatives of the services, the Ministry of the Interior, the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Transport to draw up a plan on how to safely evacuate the Bulgarian citizens from there.
For now, the authorities' idea is evacuation by air, but other options are not excluded. At this moment, the collection of data from our compatriots continues, what is their number in Lebanon and how many of them will ask to return to us.
Travel to Israel and residence in the country should be undertaken only in case of urgency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. Today there will be no flights to Israel by the airline "Bulgaria Air".
