It is difficult to have a cabinet around only one party. A multi-party government working around several priorities is possible. This was stated to BTV by Borislav Gutsanov, leader of the BSP lists in Varna and Shumen.
BSP has a clear decision of the Congress that we cannot have a coalition with GERB and DPS. This decision may change, but long after the elections, because gathering a Congress is not an easy task, he also said.
According to him, they have big differences with Boyko Borisov's party.
We would participate in a broad expert cabinet with these parties, Gutsanov announced.
It is difficult to have a political cabinet in the classical sense of the word, therefore an expert cabinet with a prime minister, ministers equidistant from the parties is the only alternative at this stage. Borislav Gutsanov, the chairman of the parliamentary group of the BSP in the 50th parliament, said this in the morning block of BTV.
Gutsanov noted that there are several priorities for Bulgaria that can be started with.
He answered a question about whether the ideas of the BSP coincide with those of the PP-DB for an equidistant prime minister:
"I don't know what the PP-DB are thinking, but I see that they have powerfully embraced the DPS in the last year. I hope they have already gotten out of this situation they found themselves in and start thinking about Bulgaria's priorities, and not what we saw in the assembly government, because it was pathological servility, greed and incompetence".
He criticized the previous assembly for the constitutional changes and decisions in the energy sector.
Gutsanov also commented on Borisov's words that BSP are natural partners of GERB. "Mr. Borisov points to the BSP as natural partners before the start of every single election campaign, after which it turns out that it has nothing to do with the truth. BSP has a clear decision at a congress that we cannot have a coalition with GERB and DPS", Gutsanov added.
