The forecasts for an increase in the price of oil, due to the weak harvest in the country in the coming months, will not be justified. This was announced for BNR by the chairman of the State Commission for Commodity Exchanges and Markets, Vladimir Ivanov.
The European market will compensate for a possible shortage in our country, and even if there is an increase, it will not be more than 10%, experts pointed out.
There will be no significant increase in the price of oil, as warned by sunflower producers and processors. The European and world markets are balanced and prices remain unchanged for more than half a year, says Vladimir Ivanov. does not expect drastic changes in our country either.
"Whenever the domestic production is less, it is not good. But there is no vacancy on the market. Naturally, we will compensate the high domestic price with an import price", explained Ivanov.
The chairman of the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Auctions categorically denied a situation like that of two years ago, when the price of oil jumped by 100%.
"If there is any rise, it will be with small percentages, it will be smooth and in no case will we see the situation from 2021-2022. There will be a situation - maybe between 5 and 10%. A very strong probabilistic factor is how it will combine supply and demand, but in no case will we see extreme crises", concluded Vladimir Ivanov.
