Stefan Yanev: The most valuable capital of the state is the people - 1

The most valuable capital the people belong to the state. About “Bulgarian rise” the main topic in this campaign is the cause of Bulgaria. But the Bulgarian state does not work, its systems do not function in the interest of the Bulgarian citizens. Without fighting corruption and the ideal economic model will work hard or inefficiently. The fight against corruption is a major issue. This is what the leader of the PP "Bulgarian Rise" said. Stefan Yanev in “Panorama“ on BNT.

„Three times I directly participated in the organization and was responsible for the elections. And these three elections have passed with no complaints about their fairness or minimal number of vote-buyers and bad practices. We have the know-how, we know how," said former Prime Minister Yanev.

According to him, the political crisis can be solved with a meaningful dialogue, which is based on policies and ideas for the development of the state.

„We have problems with corruption, we have problems with political parties, we have problems with governance. But in the end, without a meaningful conversation about the management of Bulgaria, about a strategic plan for its development in the coming years, we cannot move forward. The political system will never be ideal”, Stefan Yanev is convinced.

In his words, Bulgaria should stand on the side of peace. Development is not possible in military conditions, but only in peaceful ones.

„We are against the war, but Bulgaria, as a sovereign state, must protect its security and neutrality in relation to these conflicts,” explained Gen. Yanev added that our solidarity with NATO and the EU is clear from the point of view of the political message, denouncing violence, looking for ways to a truce, sitting at the negotiating table and letting diplomacy do its job.

The former prime minister believes that the first Bulgarian problem that deserves attention and must be solved now and immediately is the problem with the fiscal policy of the state.

„In recent years, experiments have been made from the point of view of placing large expenses, which are not present in the revenue part. We are on the verge of entering a debt spiral. This balance between income and expenditure must be gradually equalized, he said and explained that this can be done with a sensible fiscal policy, without raising taxes.

„This is possible and something that should be done immediately”, Stefan Yanev was categorical.
