Two people died and 35 were injured in 27 serious accidents that occurred during the past 24 hours in the country. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, BTA reported.
There have been 30 light traffic accidents in Sofia, five serious ones, in which seven people were injured, the announcement also states.
Since the beginning of the month, there have been 225 traffic accidents, 16 people died and 281 people were injured. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 5,636 accidents, 354 deaths and 7,103 injuries.
Compared with the actual data of 418 deaths in the same period of 2023, 64 fewer road users are reported to have died in 2024.
