A 14-year-old boy died on the spot in a serious accident in the village of Bulgarian Izvor, NOVA TV reported.
The accident blocked traffic on the Sofia road – Varna.
The incident happened around 6:10 p.m. in the village of Bulgarian Spring. A motorist crossing the main road hit two youths - 14 and 16 years old, who were driving small mopeds.
The 14-year-old boy died on the spot. The other two participants were taken to hospital, without life-threatening injuries.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated.
The road is completely closed. There are kilometer-long queues of cars, there is a bypass route.
