The leader of “Revival” Kostadin Kostadinov stated on Nova TV that he does not believe in the fairness of the elections, but he does not think that "Velichie", which currently lacks 29 votes to enter the parliament, is damaged.
„ This criminal group, because let's not forget that there is a report on them by the National Tax Service, the Financial Services Agency, the National Narcotics Agency, all state institutions that have noticed huge crimes committed there, are we forgetting that it is an organized crime a group that entered the previous parliament. When you have 4.6% the election is not rigged. They had 4.6% a few months ago. There was a split in the parliament, there were departures of entire structures, reports of huge crimes came out. And finally we expect them to enter the parliament? The most logical thing is for them not to enter, Kostadinov said.
He still thinks that the elections were not fair.
„And we have information about manipulations. In one of the sections in the school where I vote – 308 section, we have zero votes. We have a committee chairman, he said he voted for us, and his vote is gone. It is obvious that it is a matter of manipulation. Either our representative there participates in it, or he simply did not see anything, which in the best case means that he is not suitable for this job”, said Kostadinov.
„Such manipulations happen. That is why I told you that the elections are not fair. This is not from today, it is not from yesterday. Having people on committees does not mean they will be loyal to you. Some people just buy them and by the kilo like animals. If we count on dealing with this problem - the buying of votes and the manipulation, we can do it with great electoral activity,” Kostadinov said.
„There is talk of protests, and the protest was on Sunday. If 1 million more people had come out to vote, Peevski would have 5%, and the organized crime group “Greatness” – 1%. And no one would talk about this drama of theirs”, declared Kostadinov.
He also commented on the case in Belica. With him, the video broadcast after the end of election day shows a woman with a pen who appears to be writing on the ballots. Information has emerged that the person trying to cover her up is from "Revival". Kostadinov said that they have not yet checked whether this is the case.
„We will ask. But let's also ask others – from PP-DB, from BSP, from GERB. And they have been there. Anyone to protest? What if it turns out to be from GERB?”, said Kostadinov.
Regarding proposals from PP-DB “sanitary cordon” around Peevski, Kostadinov said: „When we called them 1 year ago, they ruled with him then. In March, when their 9-month rotation expired, they begged both Borisov and Peevski to continue ruling together. To make sure that PP-DB will not do the same, we will send them 2 decisions for them to sign, Kostadinov said.
„Today we will send them a proposal to sign a referendum to preserve the Bulgarian lev”, said Kostadinov. “The second – a decision to preserve the thermal power plants and the coal industry”, said Kostadinov.
