What are the options for coalitions according to the results of the vote - 1

What are the options for a governing coalition according to the results of the elections? What would be the stable majority that can form a regular cabinet? The theme in the studio of "Hello, Bulgaria" Mathematician Prof. Mihail Konstantinov and political scientist Georgi Prodanov commented on Nova TV.

Prof. Konstantinov comments on the results of the "Greatness" party and the requests for vote counting made by party leader Ivelin Mihailov. “Forget 3.999%. According to the CEC system, the important thing is how many votes the party lacks. Not 29, but 31 votes are not enough for “Greatness”. There may be an error when entering the data, but nobody can open the protocols," he said.

„It may turn out that the difference is even greater. We don't know if the result of "Greatness" it will improve after the inspection," added Prodanov.

Prof. Konstantinov presented a table comparing the number of people's representatives from each party in the past and future parliaments. "We gave BGN 120 million for a difference of less than 5%. We elect the same people seven times in a row, with the same results," he said, citing Einstein's famous words: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result."

„We are in a situation that I would call a "transition" to something different. "For me, it would be more rational for GERB to give in to the regulators first," Prodanov believes. According to him, the most important points for the new government are the selection of new regulators and the laws related to PVU. "The current situation requires a different reading to get out of it. Politics is an art of compromises - we have to choose a new option", he added. According to him, the next elected officials, who do not find a natural way out of the situation, will "reach extremes".
