„The last elections ended with a rather serious drop in our results. What we find as a conclusion is that we have stabilized the result. Little by little, we are starting to regain trust, but we still have a lot of work to do.
That's what he said on “This Morning“ Academician Nikolay Denkov from PP-DB. According to him, these elections are characterized by an unprecedented controlled vote.
„We are talking about buying whole sections, about threats to mayors – the signals are from all over the country. There is no doubt that part of the result of GERD and “DPS-New Beginning“ are actually the result of a bought and controlled vote”, said Denkov.
He repeated again that Delyan Peevski is the biggest evil in Bulgaria's political system.
„What we saw in this election is the next manifestation of this evil. Peevski's problem is that when he starts an organization, he manages to finish it extremely efficiently. Now it's time to finish GERB“, said Academician Nikolay Denkov.
“At the same time, in many places, in fact, the GERD tandem – “DPS-New beginning“ worked together in this election. "It's hard to beat that," he added.
According to Nikolay Denkov, it is extremely important to have a government, but it should work not to legitimize Peevski's schemes, but to work for people and business.
„ Borisov has a very clear choice – or goes with Peevski towards a dictatorship, because Peevski with his approach can only succeed if he establishes a dictatorship. Or to say that he wants to work for the European development of Bulgaria. If possible, I will push Peevski aside, and then we will look at how to get back on the path to European development”, commented Nikolay Denkov.
He again repeated PP-DB's request for a “sanitary corridor” around “DPS-New beginning“.
