A woman and a 6-year-old child died in a fire in Troyan, the police in Lovech reported.
On October 30, around 6:35 p.m., information was received that the bodies of a 46-year-old woman and her 6-year-old daughter were found on the second floor of a house in the city. On the spot, a team of the fire department found traces of fire inside the floor.
It probably self-extinguished hours before, and for this reason it was not necessary to use fire-extinguishing equipment, the police explained to BTA.
An initial examination was carried out, during which no traces of violence were found on the two bodies. A re-inspection is due.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated. The reasons for the fire are being clarified.
