Today, maximum temperatures in most places will be between 12° and 17°, in Sofia - around 12°, BNT reported.
Cloudiness will begin to increase, earliest in the northwestern regions, and in the evening there will be rain, which will very quickly turn into snow as temperatures drop. The wind from the northwest will strengthen, but in Eastern Bulgaria for most of the day it will still be from the south-southwest.
It will be sunny in the mountains, but in the evening the temperatures there will also drop and it will snow in the Western Stara Planina, and on the night of Saturday there will be snowfall in the central regions, as well as in the mountains of Western Bulgaria. It will also be windy, with moderate to strong westerly winds.
On Saturday night and on Saturday, many places in the country will experience rain and snow, more in Southern Bulgaria, the Balkan Mountains and the Fore-Balkans. Temperatures will be almost constant, from minus 1°C to 5-6°C. By the evening, the precipitation will temporarily stop, but on Sunday night, it will snow again from the southwest. On Sunday and Monday, it will be a little colder, and there will be more precipitation, mainly snow, and a snow cover will also form.
